All they think of is CONFLICT and WAR....Rome was like that too.

2. Peace isn't profitable to them or
to their campaign contributors. Besides, it's just the "mythical little people" who are harmed with their conflicts anyway.

3. How can you reason with people whose wet dreams
alternate between mowing down their next-door neighbor with an automatic weapon, and getting a good hard belt lashing from their daddy?

5. I don't think they think peace is impossible
It's just unprofitable and undesirable. If the country is at peace, they can't accuse Dems and liberals of treason for not supporting the war.

6. No, they don't WANT it.
They are chickenhawk war profiteers. No cost, all profit.

They sell their products by advertising fear, hatred, terror, etc. but the product they sell is war.

Saddest is that many of their flock are unaware they are in the fold because they have bought the marketing but fail to see the product they are selling.

8. NOT PROFITABLE???? Peace doesn't result in Profits??? WHO said THAT??
Edited on Fri Nov-17-06 11:11 PM by opihimoimoi
Think about this for a moment....Peace does indeed produce Profits...maybe not for the Military Industrial Complex but sure as Hell for the Nation...

Right at this moment Americans spend almost 50% of the GDP(GNP) on Military Expenditures....what happens if we spend only 10% or less depending on the Peace Level??? That would mean we could pay off the National Debt rather quickly, spend on Domestic Projects, World Projects, contend with Famine, Global Warming, implement Astroid detection stations in deep space to warn us of incoming ROCKS 5 miles wide and 67 miles Long(whatever) to give us an op to deflect...these and other things can be done with PEACE on EARTH....

The PUBS STAND IN THE WAY.....and they wanna rebound? to get the POWER BACK? Are they INSANE?

PEACE IS PROFIT and don't we forget it!!!!

9. How do you sub-contract peace? How do you bill for understanding?
How on earth can a good republican do anything because it's simply right?

When he turns into a democrat. Until then, it's all about profit, which means demolish, attack, and re-build.

War profiteers.

10. All too EASY....If we have PEACE...there is no need for huge Military Expenditures
Edited on Sat Nov-18-06 02:20 AM by opihimoimoi
The Monies saved would then go into other POSITIVE Things::::Ventures/Projects/ Reasearch/Education/Infrastructure.....etc

The Soldiers in our massive armies would be freed(except for a small needed Force...until even that is not needed) for jobs which are positive...like Construction/Restortation/Research/etc.

American would be richer than what we have now. Far Richer....No Profits for the Military Profiteers but mucho Profits for the People is what I see.

Its this SIMPLE....either we choose WAR...or we choose PEACE.

While we cannot switch overnight....we can make the decision to make it a Priority/Focus/Goal and we reduce our military slowly.

Thats US...a unilateral move.....while doing this...we entice other Nations to join us in a Peace Effort....

Peace is so much Sweeter than the Pains and Sourness of WAR...Its a no Brainer....

If "I HAVE A DREAM" can MOVE MOUNTAINS...then....

PEACE is SWEETER THAN WHINE.....
