3. I wonder...I just googled one of the names on the list -
it shows him as having died in action in Iraq in late August. I can't spend more time on this now, but that seems suspicious to me...

6. Apparently none of them had any family or friends who would notice their
disappearance.

Sorry, but this is pretty ridiculous.

7. Last I heard Seymour Hersh was looking into this. But I can say I searched the names
and could not match them up with anyone at the AKO database. AKO = https://www.us.army.mil/suite/login/welcome.html Army Knowledge Online.
Most posts here about this have been debunked as propaganda by some wannabe at an American Jihad organization.

8. Somebody would've blown the whistle on 300 missing bodies if true.
You can't hide that many bodies to avoid them showing up immediately in the death counts without somebody within the military hierarchy growing a conscience. Last month, we lost over 100 servicemen. If they all died at Falcon and the Pentagon made up excuses to release 4 or 5 of them a day (such as a deadly roadside IED attack or an ambush), that leaves 200 more to hold for release at a later date, and somebody is gonna notice the bodies were put on ice.

9. ever since that event, I have written, asking questions.
FINALLY, an answer that makes sense.

There is NO WAY that the largest ammo dump in IraqNam has only 100 men guarding it. Not when it is a "base forward" deployment area.
No way did not one American die because of those blasts. It is simply impossible.

Yeah, I got spanked here by a few "experts" who claimed that ammo dump technology is so good, that all our troops escaped. Well, I just don't trust some of the people on this site, especially when they proclaim to have knowledge that clearly contradicts the facts. That smacks of plants. embeds. placements. That smacks of the Bush administration.

We know that they read every thing we write. We know that they follow our topics. How far of a jump is it to think of them gently dissuading certain uncomfortable topics they wish to have ignored?

12. what "facts" do you have on this?
Pretty sure of yourself: "No way did not one American die because of those blasts. It is simply impossible."

Can you provide some factual support for that claim? Or are you simply relying on a posting that includes a list of 300 alleged fatalities for which absolutely no supporting evidence has ever been established to the best of my knowledge?

11. There was an ammunition dump at Camp Falcon,
said to be the largest ammunition dump in Iraq, and it was on fire and exploding all night.

However the video you have linked to is not of that, it has been wrongly labelled. It is of a very similar incident at Kirkuk, another American base, in June of 2004. Here is a link to a high quality WMP version of the Kirkuk explosions. Well worth watching, and the fact that it is 2 years old makes it no less relevant. I wonder what the soldiers have in mind when one asks about wind direction and the one filming answers that they are safe because the wind is blowing away from them.

This video definitely is the Camp Falcon ammo dump going up. However, checking the photos of it afterwards with the beforehand pictures on Google Earth, I believe only a small fraction of the ammunition stored there exploded, and most was in a separate area. If you don't have time to watch it all, start at 3.55.

There is another video here, claiming to be the Camp Falcon dump blowing up, but there is a chance it too is of Kirkuk. It's an extraordinary fireworks display, whichever it is.

What makes me wonder about the reports of 300 casualties is that they were said to be picked up directly from Camp Falcon by large Red Cross planes. The trouble with this is that Camp Falcon, as you can see on Google Earth, has no airport or landing strip. There is a placemark for it on this page. Soldiers travelling there by plane land at Baghdad Airport and Travel to Camp Falcon by helicopter.
