I remember him well. Today, while cleaning out my desk, ran across a news clipping I saved from the 70s, probably from an Oregon newspaper. Solomon had this to say in referenece to Vietnam War protesters quote: "...the unshaven, shaggy haired, drug culture poor excuses for Americans, wearing their tiny, round wire-rimmed glasses." ......I'm sure all of you who were around to protest the Vietnam War will apreciate this.

At the time I thought him an ignorant asshole, I haven't changed my mind.
Rest in Peace, asshole.

2. I lived in the Capital District from 1985 to 1996...
and I remember what a tool he was. If hell indeed exists, he's got an "all access" laminate waiting for him.

7. Got it....finally. Daily Freeman site showed date of
Nov.19,2006 re.Solomon death article in 2001. For awhile there I thought there might be two Gerald Solomons.
Anyway, the reason I searched the net for something about Solomon was because of the 1970something article I found in my desk about Solomon's stance regarding Vietnam War protesters. I must have saved the article because it was so silly, and at the same time, insulting to the protesters. "tiny little wire- rimmed glasses" LOL. That Jackasse's message still resonates with me until this very day.
