I just love Sen. John Tester!
When I see him, I see every rancher in my small town. Crew cut and all. It's so nice to see a real person, with actual "heart-land" values. It's funny how progressive he is.......and not Repressive as the MSM convinced the Country to believe. Thank gawd we have some sanity back.!!!!!

1. Me too!
He's just so clearly one of the good guys. He's going to do us proud, no doubt in my mind. Webb is actually turning out to be okay too.

4. Thats my hope too. It's very seductive though, he'll have to stay true
to his values.

6. Russert Potato Head
mentioned Tester's "considerable girth" when showing a picture of him on the ranch. He then made an insincere remark about his own girth, but it was unnecessary and coming from lard ass, was one of those "Mean Girl" momemts so often seen on MTP.
Russert is totally repulsive while Tester is sexy as hell. It's amazing to me that Russert actually was able to procreate. But I guess Quaaludes were still legal then or something...

:grr:

8. It was really cool seeing Senators Testor and Webb on MTP.
And Russet read Webb's op-ed piece, too, talking about populist values, etc.

9. Tester and open meetings
That was a Kerry idea from 2004. I don't know where Teser got it for sure, but it's nice to know great minds think alike. They're going to be on the Small Business Committee together, I look for great things from them. If we get the small business vote too, woohoo, we'll be set in 2008!!

10. The gut, the brush cut, the missing fingers.....
I loved Tester the minute I saw him. There is no doubt that his image works for a lot of people. So many working class men who spend their time operating heavy machinery have missing fingers. Two male family members of mine do.

11. I loved that the fact the interview was in his own kitchen.
I expected his wife to walk behind him, pour a coffee refill and say "Hon, do you want the last cup? Oh sorry, forgot you were on the tv. Now don't forget you need to move the tractor down to the south 40 before dark".

12. Oh, me too. I kept thinking the same thing.
It looked like any normal persons kitchen....homey...not fancy, just like my moms. I was waiting for her to step behind him to the sink and grab a cup of coffee too. lol

17. I Have a Dish & It Comes On MSNBC At 10:00 PM Tonight
I don't know what cable you have there, but we have Comcast and I think it also is shown on cable just like Hardball is. I'm almost sure it's 10:00 PM, could be 11:00 PM. I don't watch every week but I have watched it then from time to time.

But DO want to see this one. Tester does come off as being so very genuine. I've only seen long ago interviews with Will Rogers, but maybe he's sort of the modern day Will Rogers type.

15. Glad to see it
We need more pro-gun Democrats to help knock out the "Democrats want to take your guns" perception that many have in this country.

All the pretty boys having to kowtow for permission to speak! The same for when Nancy hands the gavel over to Dennis!

He and B Schweitzer make me want to find a job in Missoula!
