Sen. Pat Leahy (D-VT) asked Wan Kim, Assistant Attorney General for the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division, whether his department would be investigating Ingraham’s phone jamming. Kim said Ingraham’s actions sounded like a “voter fraud scheme.”

Kim, who said the criminal division of the Justice Department would handle such matters, seemed to take the matter seriously.

and even if ingraham only gets fined and a very public day in court, maybe it will send a signal that free speech is ok, but purposeful efforts to subvert democracy are another thing altogether.
