Tester 2008?
charming guy, populist, definately a dem (remember his response in the debates: Burns keeps saying when I get to Washington I will amend and weaken the Patriot Act. I need to correct that. It is not my intention to amend the Patriot Act, it's my intention to repeal it. (or words to that effect)

On Russert this am he said the Senate chambers reminds him of his barn, there is no other place like it on earth (cute).

He might be liberal enough for me and could bring in lots of indies.

1. We might want to let the paint dry on his office door first. NT

2. It's a little too early for that, I think. And I volunteered on his campaign. He
hasn't even taken office yet.

3. Clinton, then Obama, now Tester.

All three need to stay in the Senate for a while.

I'm sure that Tester wants to be a Senator, not the President.
I wish I could say the same thing about Clinton and Obama.

4. Let Jon be Senator for a while
but let us look very closely at our Governor, Brian Schweitzer; they are both cut from the same cloth - He has been my choice for 08 for a long time

5. Let's see how he does as a Senator first. I'm for Al in '08 and
I will work towards that end.
