Why have we not heard from the media the |
|
real reason we went into Iraq? There have been many observations but I have heard no one say it is because our president wanted to feel like a big man on campus. It was his ego. He never amounted to anything before and was in the shadow of his father for many many years. So he swaggers into the oval office with a swelled head as if he owns it. It wasn't for oil, though that would help--it wasn't because he wanted to avenge his father. He has broken every line of the Constitution in order to feel good. No one speaks of this. Are they afraid to tell the truth? Our military men and women and thousands of Iraqis are paying the price of his ego and we are paying the financial cost. We have members of congress that pussyfoot around the whole thing and love to hear themselves speak. Why can't we "cut and run." Iraq didn't ask us to invade them. The American people have been betrayed many times over in the last 6 years. We have no leader. Even if Democrats win the presidency in 2008 it will be a long uphill battle. We will have inherited the biggest mess this country has ever seen. We owe our souls to other countries. We have no money. All we will have is hope and that is in short supply.

2. I see it from a slightly different angle. |

I think he and Rove did it because they wanted Bush to be a successful Commander in Chief, a warrior, so he would easily be reelected and he and his cronies would have that permanent Republican majority they were counting on.
They thought Iraq would be easy to knock over, but their greed to secure all the contracts for their cronies got in the way of that.
They also didn't allow for the incompetence of their Neo-Con buddies.
The side-benefit for Bush would have been the Big Man on Campus thing.
The real goal was to make him King.
At least that's the way I see it.

911 was STAGED. iow, it was preplanned, carried out according to a prepared script, like a fx movie. 911 was to distract att'n from the 2k coup d'etat, which would have become publicly known about when the NORC results were published in mid sept/01... 911 conveeeniently postponed the NORC publication until monday, nov 10/01 which was the morning flight 587 CONVEEENIENTLY blew up, killing nearly 300....iraq (afghanistan before that) has a certain logic behind it, but it was foreordained, foreordained by the powers-that-be. btw, bush and his goonies probably bit players in the coup, in the wtc disaster, in the flight 587 thing, in paul wellstone's murder and in the entire iraq debacle, much like they were bystanders at katrina, but they were involved criminally. the pigs who own/operate the media are involved too.... so all you innocents please stop acting like 'virgins at a prison rodeo' all shocked/appalled at the depravity of the mass murderers who run this planet!

Okay, well, let's take a few steps back from the "9/11 was staged" point of view. It didn't have to be staged. It happened because the people running our country just blew off the threat. What I have honestly believed the 'real' reason for invading Iraq to be, ever since it began, was that Afghanistan was just too difficult. Bush wanted to look like he'd made a swift and confident response to 9/11, and victory in Afghanistan was just too hard and taking too long. His moron advisors believed that Iraq would be a quick and easy way to make America look victorious and in charge. And then everyone could forgive the failure to capture Osama. They probably had hundreds of those "mission accomplished" banners printed in advance.
