I Still Enjoy The Smell Of Burnt Freepers In The Morning!
My my still at each others' throats over in freeperland. I think Bush has gone to the well too often with the doublespeak, it's all used up. During the last two elections he was able to talk out of both sides of his mouth about stuff like abortion and throw them a bone every once in a while and get away with it. Now the brainwashed freeps are frothing at the mouth at the thought of voting for "baby killers" and "bi-partisans" like Guiliani & McCain -- literally the only type of GOP candidate that can win post-Bush disasters is one at least posing as a "moderate" a la Arnie, but the freeps are too brainwashed to accept that.

I really think all the stupid Rove rhetoric has FINALLY bit the GOP in the ass & put them in a jam for '08.

Funny to see the various factions trying to distance themselves from BushCo and painting the epic failures of the admin as not "really" being "conservative" the whole time. Not working though! Amusing FR mudwrestling complete with various failed attempts at peacemaking here!

McPainintheass is that you? This is such B.S. I don't know where to start!! First of all, these precious RINO prix GO14 are nothing but moderate game playing, middle of the road, squishy, status quo, good ole boy, SFB agitators! There's NOTHING the GO14 did to get conservatives on the court. Instead we didn't go do what should have been done, nuke the living crap out the dems!!

Conservatives have a base, and if Repubs do not want to fight for the base then they can go pissoff!! I'm so sick and tired of hearing nothing but shinola from supposed conservative repubs only to find out when they get to congress they won't stand steadfast and fight, or they get star-struck by the DBM. Bush is nothing more than a moderate, big spending, illegal immigration politico, who only understands moderation as a means to an end. Even in the WOT he can't charge in for the kill.

Newt Gingrinch came up with the "Contract With America" Almost everyone of those issue are now out the window for repubs because repubs let them die. Well fine repubs if you won't stand up for conservatives principles we won't hire you anymore to represent us, because politically you want to "get along" with B.S. policies!!

The article is ripe with moderated whimpness thats ideas will never solve anything. Show us something REAL! "Bush Conservatism," NO THANK YOU!!

2. Gang of 14 was a good deal for the Right
They got both Supreme Court appointees through with no fillibuster, and an additional 10 federal judgeships. In fact, before the Gang of 14 deal was made, 95% of Bush appointees were approved in the Senate without a fillibuster.

4. Meaning it was bad for America....
That's for sure. Ah but it's lovely to see them bringing out these moldy old cliches like GO14 & "Reagan coalition" etc. and getting nowhere with them. They've kept these nuts on a fake outrage boil for so long and now they are trying to get them to go along with moderate ANYTHING, good luck there. And they've sort of fixed it so they can't quite win without placating them! SWEET!

6. "...charge in for the kill?"
And, whom, precisely, was he supposed to charge in order to prosecute the WOT? Any muslim that moved?

Too weird.

7. Yep....
Apparently they don't think that targeting a billion people for "subjegation or kill" is Hilter-esque in any way....they are really a bunch of psychos over there, the weirdest thing is they think GAWD and baby Jeezus are smiling at their sadism for some reason!! Don't know what Bible they're reading exactly to think any of this is even a little bit OK.

8. This is classic:
"Newt Gingrinch came up with the "Contract With America" Almost everyone of those issue are now out the window for repubs because repubs let them die"

Repubs let them die....   No, repubs broke all those rules then made up a few more and broke those as well. Then they broke some rules that aren't even rules yet. Then they started really screwing up.
