19. It is frustrating when people don't get the concept and keep

changing the subject.

The idea was that the cops were doing something wrong and start from there, but people kept labeling that "interfering with an arrest" which is a different thing - interfering with a legitimate arrest.

It is very sheeplike to say you wouldn't do anything just because the cops would arrest you and that would mar your perfect record and theoretically cost you a job.

What kind of society is that? One where we actually expect people to exclude us just because we were arrested, or even convicted, without explanation or consideration? That just hands your freedom over to them.

We can't just say: oh they are stronger than we and therefore we have to let them get away with whatever they want to do. And not only that, they can arrest us for protesting it? That would be a police state. Of course you can speak up opposing it.

The youth of today faced with similar problems as those in another era are not as willing to act to save the lives of others (or prevent torture) as they were back then.

Stepping in has too many complications to one's personal life - and maybe society is to blame for that for allowing the government and personal businesses to track everything we do and hold it against in more ways than they were ever able to do before (you can even lose a job if they find out you smoke at home in some companies).

I'm a lightweight. I try to use my brain and not my fists. The only time I've used my fists, I ended up wearing a cast.

It's getting so that we have to find alternative ways to win.

It's hard to not focus on some bad cops. But I think the bigger problem is the one we need to identify and fight.

What I mean is, don't waste good energy. Hit where it counts the most.
