There's not many options for women. I saw a lot of prostitutes in Africa. It didn't take much to push a woman into a situation where prostitution is the only way to keep food on the table. Prostitution didn't flourish in Vietnam until the American troops came into town and promised to take the girls to the "land of the big PX".
