Added: What this strip fails to mention is that Rangel already did his military service (I believe via the draft). He served in honorably in combat in Korea, was wounded, and won a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart.

Elderly politicians might not be at risk of having to serve, but most of them have offspring who would be. Let them consider that possibility before they rush us to war again.
