Poll question: The draft broken down by demographics.
Edited on Mon Nov-20-06 07:18 PM by survivor999
Just an attempt (not enough choices)... And I'm ASSUMING that women would NOT get drafted (no idea if that's true).

Should we reinstate the draft?

2. I could get drafted in about a year and a half, and I say absolutely
not. But my own personal fear of getting drafted is only the tip of the iceberg. Of course I don't want to die and leave behind all my dreams and ambitions, but I also couldn't stand the idea of my family constantly worrying about me, and maybe one day finding out that I wouldn't be coming home. Imagining that for thousands of other people leaving behind friends and families to fight a war they don't believe in should be enough to keep anyone from supporting a draft.

4. the draft
if you want to end this war all you have to do is put people in harms way who do not want to be there and watch their parents react. The main reasont there is no significant outrage at this war is because "They all volunteered" In the Viet nam there were parent and other family members of the draftees by a scale of 100 who were impacted

5. NO FUCKING WAY.
If there was one, it seems fair to include both genders. (I'm female.) But if it was reinstated, one gender or both, I would raise hell about it.
