3. Interesting that he did it at this point in the show, isn't it?
Perhaps they were doing that for two reasons. One, to see if the ratings followed him to that point in the show as they did last week with the last 15 minutes beating OReilly and Two, because Joe didn't want any more deer in the headlight shots when Keith tosses it over to him. Which one do you think sounds more likely?

13. Nah, this comment was at the middle of the show for one reason and one reason only.
What with the TomKat wedding over the weekend, they had to save the end of the show for snark with Michael Musto.

Thank God it's over. Now maybe we don't have to hear about them again until the inevitable divorce.

5. Bravo Keith, another one right out of the park.
I'm off to send the e-mails of support. Keith is amazing, he hit this one right on the head. I lived through the Vietnam era and can relate to everything Keith said. Another job well done.

7. We were defeated.
"From 1964 to 1972, the wealthiest and most powerful nation in the history of the world made a maximum military effort, with everything short of atomic bombs, to defeat a nationalist revolutionary movement in a tiny, peasant country-and failed. When the United States fought in Vietnam, it was organized modern technology versus organized human beings, and the human beings won."

8. I think it's the best so far
I was gob smacked at his first and subsequent ones. I didn't think he could continue to give me chills.

He even asserted that our soldiers who died, died for nothing. He'll garner wrath for that, I'm sure. But the administration will have to finally answer Cindy Sheehan's question to prove Keith is wrong.

17. They died to teach us war for empire (elite resource theft ) is a fool's game.
We still haven't learned it but they didn't die for nothing. Eventually we will learn the lesson and their deaths will have a more profound meaning than the one they think they are fighting for.

23. I hope you're right - Well said, glitch
But that lesson wasn't learned after 58,000 U.S. deaths in Vietnam. I hope you're right for this group of lost soldiers.

It's too bad NBC doesn't have the balls to show the entire thing on The Nightly News.

21. I did notice
in the "news" the release of a statement from Kissinger. The war can't be won, or some other such trite dribble. That's not what impressed me though. As I remember it Vietnam, America's other lost war was also tied to the name Kissinger. So here we have history repeating itself once again as Mr Illuminati and escapee from a condom Henry Kissinger once again spews forth his "brilliant" analysis.

I introduced my 78 yr old dad to KO about a month ago.

Tonite, dad & I went out for dinner and got back to his house about 10 minutes after the hour. He went STRAIGHT for the TV saying, "Olbermann's on!!!" He told me that he now watches EVERY single night!

During the bit about McCaine's old campaign bus, and the guy said that this time it can't be called 'Straight Talk Express' and wondered if it might be 'Gay Talk Express' or 'Crooked Talk Express', my father said, "How 'bout DOUBLE TALK EXPRESS??!!"
