WP's Howard Kurtz won't acknowledge Olbermann's role in higher MSNBC ratings |
|
He says folks tuned in to see Brian Williams. And he even suggests that 'Hardball' is their top show. Read it to believe it: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/11/19/AR2006111901027.html

That joke Matthews? Does he really think people tune in to see him tongue the balls of people with power? All MSNBC has is Olbermann, and if they don't respect it, he should go to another network.

Chris Matthews ratings are stagnant, even with all the extra airings.

Kurtz, you have NO credibility after trying to push this utter nonsense. MSNBC owes its very life to Keith Olberman right now. Matthews is a freakin' joke who flaps with the wind more than John McCain. And Russert? Are you SERIOUS? And who are those other second-stringers? Do you honestly think anyone but Dan Senor gives a rat what Campbell Brown is saying on television at any given moment? What were you paid by the RNC to write that CRAP, Howie? Blind obedience to corporate masters is a large part of why the GOP is in the mess its in right now, Howie. Keep digging, buddy.
----
And that's the toned-downed version, after reading their "rules."

20. Just off the top of my head, IIRC |
|
Not only a RNC/Bush fund-raiser, but a member of the 2000 & 2004 Bush transition teams. You know checking resumes, recommending people for slots, etc.
Or am I confusing that with Brit Humes' wife?

15. It isn't the first time he's knocked Keith. |
|
He wrote an article earlier this year in which he in essence attributed any rising ratings KO had to "Bush-bashing."
Never said, but implied: Keith was taking cheap shots at Bush, and at Bill O'Reilly, and hey, cheap shots will always attract SOME attention.
