“I DON'T LIKE TO HEAR FROM THESE COWARDLY REPUBLICAN WAR MONGERS ! “
Edited on Tue Nov-21-06 12:06 AM by understandinglife
“President Bush has two kids who belong in Iraq and they're not there. And if they had to go there, he would make a different decision. IT IS A DISGUSTING disconnect from military service!“

“What I'm telling you is if someone is afraid to put on a military uniform and afraid of combat, they have no right to advocate war.“

“Just like President Bush. HE WAS AFRAID OF COMBAT AND HE ADVOCATES WAR. he doesn’t advocated for his kids.”

Not. Hard. To. Grok.

Unless you're a preppy neconster with a Poppy that should have kept Jim Baker doing Carlyle business instead of trashing a National Election.

Clue - Poppy and Jim - You're both going to be co-defendants in the indictment against your war criminal child and protege, respectively.

It's about Rule of Law. Accountability time.

23. I LOVE the way you put those words together...
so I made a graphic, printed it out on heavy stock, cut it out, glued a saftey pin on back, to wear as a pin on TG Day festivities. Might start some conversation, ya think?!

in returning to any passivity.

16. And we were drug into Kosovo after years of bloodshed and a widening war

It was not a war of choice nor a pre-emptive war. Genocide was happening and it was headed toward Greece.
Also not a single US Serviceman was killed. Not one....

12. Saw that last night on JoeBlows's show.
I stated to hit the remote after KO got off, then heard that Larry O'Donnell was gonna be on. I like Larry and wish he was on more often than a lot of the other Dem talking heads they have on.

Just about knocked myself out when my jaw hit the floor as I heard Larry say; "What I'm telling you is if someone is afraid to put on a military uniform and afraid of combat, they have no right to advocate war."

Joe, of course, tried to call a timeout by calling that "over the top", but the two of them (Larry and the Rethug) just kept at at. It was one of the finest moments in the recent History of Television.

Kudos, Larry, for having nerve and wisdom to to speak the truth! :patriot:

13. Unfortunately
All of them were talking over each other so much, I think the greater point was lost. All I got from it is that Scarborough is a lousy facilitator. But I knew that.

17. When an important point is being made by a Dem, it's Joe's job to step on it.
Pat Buchanan and Tucker Carlson did the same as hosts.

22. Classic example of why I can't bear to watch Scarborough.
He likes the soapbox way too much, has too many guests on at one time, all with different points of view talking (to put it mildly) over each other. Scarborough shouldn't be a host because he can't tolerate an opinion different from his own. Instead of talking over his guests to quiet the opinion he can't bear the viewers to hear, he should be moderating the guests in such a way that each opinion would not be interrupted. Chaotic is the only way to describe what should be intelligent exchanges of thoughts between grown-ups.

Thank goodness Lawrence O'Donnell has the stomach to get through a Scarborough segment to counter these "I love & appreciate war as long as I don't have to serve in it" opinions. All of us Democrats believe in defending our country from harm, but the problem is that, beginning with Viet Nam, the industrial military complex that Eisenhower warned the country about has stepped into the picture. Wars today are begun by greedy, money-worshipping, well-connected billionaires. And it is our sons & daughters who have to make the sacrifice for lining their pockets.

Btw, I'm very impressed with photobucket.com's video capability! The larger screen is awesome.

24. Lawrence O'Donnell was on Air America with Randi Rhodes earlier
He said the same thing about Bush**'s daughters -- it's time to legitimately start asking why they aren't in Iraq. Great stuff.
