16. I love early bird

it is such a classic silhouette - with the dark bird against a light colored background. The moody quality of the bird's stance is enhanced by the lack of details. By not knowing the bird's color or features we can experience the piece's almost funereal tone. Its almost as if the bird is pensive, mourning its breakfast's death.

Angel Frolicking in a Blue Sky is just an amazing photograph and it's a shame it's not getting more votes. It's not as spectacular as some of the others, but since the theme is Silhouettes, it nailed that and then some. Beautifully composed. A perfect photograph, IMHO.

i have almost that same photo

unfortunately i had to vote for "early bird," maybe you have had to have tried it yourself to know how damn difficult it is to photo a bird with worm and have it come out anything decent at all -- and that one is far beyond "decent"
