Holiday Gift Idea: 2007 Anti-Bush Calendar and *NEW* Advent Calendar (Another Shameless Plug)
Edited on Tue Nov-21-06 11:48 AM by Skinner
It's that time of year again! Some of you may remember my post last year advertising a cool Anti-Bush countdown calendar.

If you're looking for a great gift for all the progressives on your list, Blue Funk Productions now has a 2007 Bush Countdown Calendar, and a special Unofficial White House Advent Calendar for the holiday season!

The cover of the 2007 Bush Countdown Calendar might look the same as last year's, but the artwork inside is all new. A number of DUers ordered these calendars last year, and can vouch for the high-quality of the product. You can order the 2007 Bush Countdown Calendar here.

The Unofficial White House Advent Calendar looks great too. I have one, and I already sneaked a peek inside some of the little doors. You can order the Unofficial White House here.

BTW: Feel free to give this thread a kick and a recommendation.

21. Re: Bla Bla Bla
Neither - no - no, I do Tai-Bo - I don't indict evildoers only the grand jury can do that - yes, his complexion is autumn - Lance does not believe in Santa Claus nor Fitzmas (but Karl is now a believer and Dick Cheney will be getting lumps of coal from me. :D

18. Hmm. Let me see here. (taps chin with index finger, gazes off into space)
Patrick,

America's dying to know: Boxers, or briefs?

Do you like pina coladas and getting caught in the rain? Are you into yoga? We know you have half a brain. Bla, bla, bla, dunes on the Cape, write to me and escape...

In the meantime, why did you decline to indict Karl Rove? Will your boss be wearing an oh-so-fashionable orange jail jumpsuit after the New Year? Is Peter Lance OFF the Christmas card list for the foreseeable future?

Love,
Julie

4. Can you tell us what the charities are that get 10% of the proceeds?
I assume they are politics related, but I need to make sure because there are some charities I refuse to give money to for moral reasons.

15. Do they come in mailers (envelopes) so they can be sent as gifts by mail??
That'd be critical in my choice, and I don't see it stated anywhere. (Maybe I didn't look far enough.)

27. *** Here's their reply. *** (Prompt, accommodating, and courteous.)
Hi, Mike! We can make that happen. We'll enclose mailing envelopes for the
number of calendars you order. I'll ask the fulfillment people to keep an eye
out for your order and make sure this happens. (We think they make the best
gifts imaginable, so we want to help you get them out there!)

Have a great Thanksgiving, and best regards from all of us at Blue Funk!

Averel Wilson

Does this calendar come with an envelope so it can be 'gifted' by mail?

That'd be critical to my buying decision.

Thank you.

23. Last year, I ordered several of the Bush calendars
and my friends were THRILLED with them. Did they wait until the month was over to see what pictures and bushisms the next month would bring? NOOOOOOO...they sat down and read the whole calendar, month by month, then and there, laughing hysterically. Great gifts.

25. Ya know what would be funny? A "conservative idiots" calendar!
Every day of the year would celebrate some historical right-wing idiocy which occured on that day, like the day Cheney shot his hunting partner in the face, the last day that Bush showed up for service in the ANG before he went AWOL, the day his first business went bankrupt etc. etc.
