MSNBC: Speculation of Gingrich Run for President! Bring It On! |
|
Edited on Tue Nov-21-06 01:18 PM by KoKo01
Add his name to Giuliani, Duncan Hunter, Mitt Romney, McCain and Sam Brownback!
Dems can have a field day with this crowd. Talk about ethics and morality! Sheesh... Don't know much about Brownback but the rest of them are an open book and shows how limited their field is. Maybe a Televangelist will throw a hat into the ring to make it more fun.
Bring it On! The Bankrupt Party of Crooks, Liars and Immorality scrambling for a new figurehead!

14. Belongs To One Of The Wealthiest Families In Kansas |
|
Despite his "farm boy" act. He was raised Protestant & converted to Catholicism (this was after he became pro-life. His conversion to the pro-life position occured right after Kansans For Life took over the Republican Party machinery.) Afraid I've moved to Southwest Georgia so I'm not really up on what Brownback has been up to lately.

6. Gingrich has charisma, but little chance.... |
|
As I said in an earlier thread, the guy is believable and smart (and in my opinion genuine with his right wing conservative views) - but Republicans would do much much better using someone who doesn't have a huge record we could attack.
We have so much we could use against him - I think he is too smart to run. He can connect with moderates, but not in a presidential way. He'll get stomped by an Obama or someone like him...
But... put him against Hillary (no matter what your views) I think it could be a close race. I promise you if he is nominated he will be begging to go against Clinton.

Gingrich would blow Hillary away here. People still talk about his contract. I am not going to take this lightly; I think he's worrisome.

around with second while impeaching Clinton ...and it could be very interesting. Even Red State females don't take kindly to this kind of messing around. And women vote more than men. In two years the last dregs of Gingrich revolution will have bankrupted America. He will be lucky not to be run out of town on a rail, imho.

He was a hypocrite during the Clinton/Monica affair, so he should expect the same scrutiny.

13. Newt is Brilliant, perfect for the Run. Incredibly astute and with a perfect personality |
|
he would make the run to the White House very interesting and amusing...
But the Baggage he carries will suffocate and drown him 19.08 minutes into the race
