George Michael Concert in Munich, Oct. 29, 2006 -- Shoot the Dog
George Michael is touring Europe now to commemorate his 25 years as a performer, and the tour has been a stunning success. He doesn't even have to advertise.

Here's a shot of the opening of "Shoot the Dog." An inflated Bush is being serviced by Poodle-boy Blair on stage.

George Michael pulled on Blair's tail to try and pry Blair-as-poodle off Bush's member, and then he kicked Blair, an obvious commentary on Michael's view re: performing artists' right to free speech, per the Dixie Chicks, and the audience loved it. A second concert had to be scheduled the following night, the demand was so great.

George Michael, you rock! :yourock:

1. Come on! 100 people have viewed this post and not a single comment?
Do I detect American discomfort w/the BJ, even as it pertains to inflatables? :dilemma:

2. The reality of their joint venture is much more obscene than this depiction
but what it has wrought is not funny like the depiction.

4. Is there a video of the concert?
His cartoon-video for the song is one of my favorites. Great song.

and finally found this! I don't know if the concert has been video'd completely. Michael has been performing all over Europe. He's taken the tour to the UK now.

I had breakfast with one of Michael's accountants, and a back-up singer, at my hotel. They didn't like Bush or Blair, either. I'd like to think it's a prerequisite for employment on Michael's staff. :)

Have you seen Freedom?

I think it's been posted on DU already.
