I was kind of looking forward to the primary debates

I don't know why I was thinking about them so early. But I was thinking that they should be good and lively with so many interesting and diverse candidates.

But then I remembered.

Biden.

Sigh.

Oh well, at least he'll be on a timer.

2. I wasn't sufficiently de-sheepled at that point

and really didn't know what I was watching even when I was watching it. So these will be my first real debates as an aware person, and for the first time I look forward to them.

And Biden's a blowhard. I fear him taking over the debates, or even having to listen to him self-promote like a fiend.

5. Biden makes noise every 4 years and never gets any $$$ and drops

out fast, you don't have to worry about him I don't think

and we're laughing because the primary flame wars are unbelievable, viscous, unrelenting and nasty so you "looking forward to it" puts fear in our hearts so we laugh to cover the pain.....

I hope we can keep it civil this time. But I wasn't here at that point either, so I don't know how bad it got. I guess I'll probably find out.

I said a pledge a while back to not bash other candidates. I couldn't get many to join me though.

No laughter here. I think that the 08 season will be interesting in general. We've already got half a dozen from each party who are running: there's probably going to be double-digit candidates on both sides by the time the primaries actually get here. First election with no incumbant POTUS or VPOTUS in a veeeery long time.
