Sen Reid: Why Not Impeach Bush? - Dick Cheney
Why Not Impeach Bush? Dick Cheney

The degree to which the new Democratic leadership on Capitol Hill despises Vice President Dick Cheney is a big plus for President Bush. Consider why incoming Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid scrapped an idea to impeach Bush: "Two words: Dick Cheney," he says, joking that it would vault the veep into the Oval Office.

6. REMEMBER: They Testified TOGETHER at 911 Hearings?
They should be impeached the same way.

Isn't that right, President Pelosi?

7. I'll take my chances with a hobbled Dick Cheney. . .
succeeding a President, removed through impeachment, with a Democratic Congress and a Republican party doing its best to backpeddle and put distance between itself and a thoroughly disgraced Administration. . . yeah, I'll take my chances.

16. Right, Spiro Agnew, Nixon's VP, was indicted.
He was indicted for tax evasion and then he resigned and pleaded no contest to the charges.

You'd think he'd have come up with something better by now.

Goes to show how bereft of morality and logic their desperate attempts to escape their duty are.

From Christian Science Monitor http://www.csmonitor.com/2006/1116/p11s01-usmb.htm">Nov 15

"One of the things that we were able to cut off pretty quickly is the 'impeach Bush' program," said Reid, referring to some Democratic activists who have that goal. "That was because of two words: Dick Cheney," he joked.

You can almost see the Members wiping their brows, and congratulating themselves for dodging the impeachment "bullet."

When I saw that last week, I thought "He joked? Impeachment is a joke? "There was a program? A program? If they had program, maybe there's more support in Congress for impeachment than we realize. Gotta find the program manager and reactivate."
