...I would have told them that I thought they might be setting their sites a little to high and it might be more constructive to be more realistic about this whole thing.

Those two wins alone are just remarkable. I feel like I need to keep asking someone to pinch me to make sure I am not dreaming. Still.

Talent(less) beaten by McCaskill . . . in the great, backward state of Missouri???

Too good to be true!

3. I know. And both men would have laughed at the idea, too.
Plus a Democrat will be taking over the seat that Kolbe is vacating. Arizona saw some real gains.

6. And that the Dems would control the Senate as well as the House -
Turns out though, if you follow some of the LONG, "statistic"-filled threads that have bubbled up out of Election Reform recently, even though we WON the election -the Repubs STOLE IT!!! :eyes: You'd think they'd try to claim instead that Rove and company decided not to bother with stealing a mere Midterm election, but the fraudsters can't help themselves.

7. Santorum was dead meat all along, as long as the Dems put up
a decent candidate. Which they failed to do the last time, and Ron Klink STILL came close.

10. Hey! Macaca was the Big Kill for me. It gave me hope that we could
VANQUISH the EVIL DOERS! Santorum was a good one...but Oh...Macaca was so sweet...I smile whenever I think of him going down. To think Repugs thought they could follow the Chimp with that Ass? Amazing how powerful they thought they were to put up a complete Asshole/Idiot like Macaca and figure he would "pass muster." He was a tad worse than Santorum..and it's good they both went down.

I'm also the only DU'er who is happy that the "Reverend Moon Crowning organizer" Harold Ford went down in Tennesee...(even if he was a Dem..he was a "devil in disguise." (I know that's not popular)
