I Got A Nice Response From Craig Thomas
Edited on Tue Nov-21-06 09:46 PM by Dinger
I know he's a republican, but someone here posted around the time of the election that he was ill will cancer, and who ever it was also posted a link to send get well wishes. We don't want to get a Senate seat this way, at least I don't. At first, I got an automated response, but today I got this: (not sure if it's automated or not)

November 21, 2006

Dinger
Cool Street
Wisconsin

Good morning Dinger . . .

Thank you so much for your kindness.

I certainly did not expect this diagnosis,
but I am ready to take on this challenge by
joining the thousands of other cancer
survivors in Wyoming. I am looking forward
to continuing my work in the Senate as soon
as the 110th Congress begins in January.
Susan and I thank you wholeheartedly for all
of your thoughts and prayers.

Thank you so much for thinking of me and my
family. I really appreciate your
thoughtfulness and words of encouragement!

Best Regards,

Craig Thomas
United States Senator

1. I hope he recovers
Cancer is a bitch. I looked him up on stem cell research and he's opposed to using embryonic cells. I wish him the best and hope he reconsiders his position.

4. Luckily he has all that government-supplied health care
you know, the stuff he voted against for everyone else?
