What's with the packaging on The Inconvenient Truth DVD?
Just a paper wrapper in a clear plastic sleeve-at least that's how it was at Best Buy

Any environmental concerns over the usual plastic case?

1. Of Course. And I Also Find It To Be A Brilliantly Complimentary Marketing Tactic.
I think that's a great way to start initiating the point just by looking at the DVD, before the consumer even watches a minute of it!

Kudos to whoever came up with it.

3. Most plastic is a petro product.
The packaging on the DVD states that it's made from recycled materials as well.
I agree that it was a great idea and one I hope others will use in the future.

I did just learn this though:

Interesting to note that corn and wheat can also be used to make plastic. ;)

I haven't seen it yet, I don't want to say 'I'm looking forawrd' to seeing it, but I've been very curious about it.
