The Fallacy of Generic ballot discrepancy with global margin of victory

Due respect to those who earnest belief there is massive vote fraud going on.. Use of generic ballot data is chock full of substantive logic problems.

I took a five minute look at the data from the midterms. As seats become safer the fewer votes are cast. This is true without regard to region or party. Using the generic ballot as evidence of vote fraud fails to consider that the question posed by the generic ballot does not take into account that the qualifications of challengers in safe seat district is genuinely so poor that more people do not get out and vote. Given that and geographic skewing of political affiliation while on a nation basis it might seem as though there is a real problem with vote totals and generic ballots, in actuality it is simply the result of geography and gerrymandering and apathy.
