Uranium mining haunts the Navajo People
Past uranium mining still haunts the Navajo Nation. The tribe has banned all uranium ming on it's land.

2. There is a saying among the Navajo
"All they gave us is the rocks, now they want they rocks" I heard this a lot when I was growing up in the sixties and seventies on the Navajo reservation.

3. many members of my family grew up & were born in Arizona

They had left by about 1940 luckily.

However, two of them have died of cancer and there were only 5 total. :(
