Why is Joe Scabrous having a go at Jimmy Carter?
He seems to be using Bush's current "troubles" as an excuse to rehash decades old stories about Carter's presidency that have absolutely no relevance.

Jimmy Carter got in trouble because he told the truth. * gets into trouble for lying. But of course, Carter has to serve as the whipping boy for *'s lapses.

Turning off the TV now.:argh:

1. I turned the channel
He sounded so silly trying to compare the two.

Carter was not dangerous or dumb.

We now have a pure idiot in the WH.

4. There's absolutely no comparison between the two men.
I didn't see how bringing up Carter was even remotely relevant. I guess since they both had "troubled" presidencies. :eyes: Of course, Nixon had a troubled presidency and was extremely unpopular in his second term, but it would never occur to Scabrous to look there for comparisons.

I need to learn to get to my "off" switch more quickly after the end of KO.

2. Dead Intern Joe is about
the most inconsistent one out there - he had a good run for a few months bashing Bush and the GOP, even wore KO type glasses for a bit but I guess, once a GOP slut, always a GOP slut.

9. While it's true the economy sucked under Carter,
Edited on Wed Nov-22-06 10:00 PM by Bullshot
he didn't exactly inherit a strong economy from Nixon and Ford before him.

I remember Nixon and his attempts at price controls, most notably, his 90 day wage and price freeze in 1971. I remember Ford and his "Whip Inflation Now" (WIN) campaign.

Out where I'm from, most of these history-ignorant dufuses think the bad economic times of the 1970s was all Carter's doing.

11. Yeah, before I was able to switch the channel he started in
on the "mad bunny" story. Talk about having to really reach back into the past for shit. How soon before they start turning on Eleanor Roosevelt again. Oh, I forgot they have Hillary.

attacking Carter. So far I can't find the link, but I'm positive several of the sites were attacking Carter recently (e.g. the 'truth' about Carter or something).
