Poll question: Who, in your opinion, is most responsible for the war in Iraq? |
|
I have heard so many varying opinions regarding the genesis of this mess. Many place the blame as far back as the first Bush presidency. Others blame Clinton for taking his eye off the ball during the impeachment hearings. Rupert Murdock has been mentioned for his role in controlling the press and thus swaying the people's opinions. There are even a number of democrats who still put the blame on Ralph Nader for swinging the election over to G.W.'s favor. Chalabi has been called the flim flam man who sold the bill of goods to the neocons.
What do you think?

More Americans needed to have voiced discontent. Unfortunately, not enough of us agreed that it was a bad idea.

4. According to scholars from the American Enterprise Institute |

everything that went wrong between 1975-2005 was the fault of the Clinton Administration, so I'm going to have to go with Clinton.

8. Everyone who thinks that AEI, Heritage, PNAC, etc. are reputable and worthy of attention. |

That is, the press who gave themselves a complete vacation for so long going off to stare at their navels while they filled their ears with trash which was parrotted back in the press and on the airwaves.
Sciafe, Kroc, etc. enabled the idjits posing as "scholars" and "fellows" over yonder ways in Ayn Rand/Israel First! Land to eat and have impressive titles and address...but the press bought them hook line and sinker.
Take away the audience and the big bucks and why Bill Kristol might have to teach a class and actually audition for a asst. professorship along with others! The pundit crowd loves a free ride on the bigbuck machine more than they do being on TV, if that is possible!
