Poll question: Which of these fine Democrats would you most likely vote for ?
Edited on Wed Nov-22-06 11:37 PM by kentuck
Pick the one that you think would stand the best chance of winning or the one you like best, not necessarily the same thing. :)

(edited to add John Edwards and Barack Obama - could not leave them off any list)

4. Nearly all of them are worthy of my vote ....
Gore would be first choice, but he is DONE with elective office ..... (Make a DAMN good Secretary of State, though .. )

Clark and Edwards would tie for next on the list ....

I'm curious. So I want to get a good sample of where DU stands. I'm going to try and keep it kicked a few times until Jon Tester pulls ahead... :)

11. I once heard DK say
he had a lot of respect for Edwards? Don't know why. My number one issues are the war, trade , and health care. So really, none mentioned other than Kucinich really fit my specifications.

12. I assume "aristocratic" before Kerry's name was meant to discourage votes?
Didn't discourage me. Not at all how I see him.

"Integrity," and TRUE Dem through and though.

15. Other
In the primaries, I will vote for the one I think has the best chance of beating the leading GOP contender, who I'm hoping will be Gingrich, because he's the one I see as most polarizing, so I think most of our candidates could beat him. I'm hoping it will not be McCain because too many independents see him as moderate, but we can fix that. I know it will not be Giuliani. The rest of their guys being currently discussed are not Presidential timber. They just don't have It. They're a piss-poor crop.

I would really like Clark or Gore to come out on top. I would like Obama slated for VP with the seasoned leadership of Gore; I think they would have great chemistry. I haven't sussed out the chemistry between Obama and Clark.

I would really like not to have to vote for Biden. My least favorite of the bunch. Despite my support for him in 04, I would really prefer Kerry not run in 08. The rest are okay but not my top choices.

...yes, even Hillary - but if I have to pick one, I've got to go with Gore.

On edit: I like the way you said something nice about each one. That's far too rare around here.
