How would they have liked it if she hit her head or the back of her neck on that desk instead of the chair and incurred a permanent injury? Then they'd really be screwn.

2. Who is training all these cops/security people to use tasers in almost ANY situation where
someone is CUFFED but simply being non-cooperative?

Taser International, that's who. Another example of Corporate America profiting off the abuse of humans. Some freedom we have here in America, ain't it?

7. They were supposed to be used to obviate the need for
shooting or clubbing dangerous suspects, but now they're being used in situations where bullets or batons would never have been used.

Make the technology, they will use it.

9. I think so, too. The police are often tempted to use them
to punish people. Which is NOT their intended purpose.
