Holidays cancelled.

Stop giving thanks until families are whole!
Deck the halls with hatred for hatred!
Peace on EARTH isn’t just for America!
Stable the reindeer and tell the fat man that the fat lady hasn’t sung.
The job will never be done.
Cancel Chris Cringle until Charlie Company can wait for Santa in their own beds
We wish you a misery free Christmas.
No Presidential parties. Paid for by us. Just like the war.
Buy more wreaths for Arlington with my share.
Give me my Christmas wish. That Christ will be heeded.
Cheeks will be turned. Enemies loved. Tears pass from understanding.
War no more.
Lennon says it’s over. If we want it?
I know I do.
Holidays are for peace. War is death.
Choose life. Let hope take care of the rest.
No Merry Military action. No Joyous Jihad. Seasons Greetings not suicide squads.
No happy new year or holiday Ho Ho Ho
Until we stop this madness. No more blood.
On sand or snow.

2. IMO this might be my favorite poem

that I've wrote. I've not yet been able to duplicate how well the rhythm of it came out. Probably because I've thought about it too much. All my stuff is best when accidental lol.

5. The definition of creativity there...it's all there just waiting to come out. :-)

It's such a great poem, and this from someone who is shies away from cynicism, (as I'm also drawn to it, of course).

I hope this stays front and center on the DU main pages for a while.
