Is your dog a Democrat or a Republican?
Here's how to find out:

http://www.stupid.com/stat/BUSH.html

It's a dog toy "shaped to look like the current occupant of the White House."

1. I think my dog's a Republican
She's paper-trained, and she always seems to avoid peeing on the pictures of Bush and Ahhhnuld that I so carefully leave out for her.

45. My cat Orangie is definitely a repuke..
He is a Jekyll and Hyde. He wants to be petted but slashes after about the 3rd stroke. He makes a pathetic squeaking noise whenever eye contact is made but we can never tell exactly what it is he wants. He dominates the cat food dish and guards it so the other 3 cats can't eat. He lays by the cat door and attacks the other cats butts when they are half way out (thus they cannot retaliate). My daughter calls him "Grinchie," and her friends refuse to pet him lest they be scratched....but he follows them around making his squeaking noise wanting to be petted. He fits the freeper profile to a tee...

2. Dogs are Republicans.
They give love, devotion and loyalty to people who don't deserve it and haven't earned it. They can be trained to follow orders without question. And they never think about the consequences of their actions.

can't be republicans - I don't love no damn republicans!!!

My dog is a Democrat. She's independent, loves people, and only obeys me when she feels like it.

Edit: Oh, yeah, she's polite when she begs, too. She is very considerate - never demanding and waits patiently or sometimes politely taps your knee with her chin to remind you she's there.

If I had a dog it would be a Democrat for sure because it would pee on every Bush.

My cats are definitely commies.

33. The 90 Pound Hound isn't. He is a good judge of character
and generous almost to a fault. Has a well developed sense of humor and is a creative problem solver. Jolly and easy going unless a situation requires serious and determined.

He is loving and gentle with those less powerful than himself. He is excellent at sizing up any opponent/potential playmate and uses only enough force to take care of things. He will get down and try to look small so as not to intimidate dogs and cats who are not big like him. He is assertive and competent, never aggressive. He defends the vulnerable and helps the weak. He pulled me up 4 stairs when my back went out and I was unable to get up the stairs into the house. He has offered himself to several little tots learning to walk and is gleeful when they get good at it and don't need him to hang on to. They can curl up and nap with him anytime though, and he WILL teach them to fetch as soon as their little legs are up to it!

If he is indoors too long and poops on the rug, he does not blame the rug, the cat, or the terrorists. He will ask me to define boo-boo and point out that he held it as long as he could, but accidents happen and we all need to face reality, fix the immediate problem, remember that dogs can only stay inside so many hours and move on to something else... here's my favorite toy, wanna play?

He's a DEM.

7. my cats are Democrats!
They are very independent, have different ideas, and can't be herded. But they are much more effective at keeping the terrorist mice away than dogs would be.

15. I'm not sure about my dog's politics. He seems goofy and well-intentioned,
but he's always growling out the window at imaginary threats, and he's chewed up two of my books ... American Theocracy and Bill Clinton's autobiography. He would probably sell out and vote Republican for a doggie treat.

How can I tell? They leave the room when bush is on. Just get up and leave. They come back when he stops talking. I noticed it during the summer. I guess it is something about his whine.

26. My little girl is definitely
a dem. She wouldn't accept a bribe and there are certain people who are mean that she does not like. My boy on the other hand I have doubts about, he would take any kind of bribe if it were a treat, he's quite naive and likes everyone as long as they have food in hand, I see definite K St connections with him.

32. I believe that one of our dogs is a Dem and the other a Repub
Our Terrier/Poodle mix is very intelligent, a quick learner and he loves EVERYONE. I'm sure he's a Dem.

The other dog, a Terrier/Collie mix is not that bright, the only trick he has been able to learn is "speak" (and he "speaks" a lot, very loudly and for no particular reason...just like a Repub) and he is afraid of everything and everyone. I think he's a Repub.

41. My cats
I have to think for a second what they would be...

Midnight-He's the oldest. He barfs everywhere and doesn't clean it up, but he cant help it. He's very aloof and doesn't like to be disturbed either. He hates it when you pick him up, pet him, etc without him first coming up to you (a little libertarianish, i guess). He is just very independent, apolitical or libertarian.

Roxie-She's really small and has alot of energy. She's like a young democrat, really energetic and active

Atticus-He's been through alot (we adopted him and saved him from being euthanized). He's like an older democrat that's got a new lease on life.

Fargo makes a great sandwich board because he's so big. He helped me register voters at the Dallas Gay Pride Parade in 2004. Some of the fun little nancy boys told me they registered just because they thought he was so pretty! :D
