1. I remember when that first aired. I was literally on the floor gasping |

for breath because I was laughing so hard. Thanks for the reminder.

11. Indeed! One of the most gut-busting episodes in TV history, imho. |
|

I had tears streaming down my face I was laughing so hard. For some reason, it found every funny-bone in my body ... including some I didn't know I had. It was beautiful ... it denigrated no 'victim class' and just tapped into the truth of how misguided we can all be at times when our brains go into neutral. Johnny Fever and Les Nessman slayed me. (While Loni Anderson was sheer eye candy - she was perfectly tuned for an island of cock-eyed sanity.)
Rarely does TV get any better than WKRP, MASH, and Taxi - the 4-letter words of excellence.

19. You and me both. Arguably the funniest TV moment ever. |
|
"As God is my witness, I thought turkeys could fly..." and the look on Carlson's face. And Les duckinginto the store, and I could so go on...
Such memories!

Sounds like a Bushism to me...as God is my witness, I thought Iraqis would shower our troops with flowers and candy.
Happy T everyone. Sorry to mention the Big Turkey.

26. Not very far and not very high, but I've seen them. |
|
A few weeks back there was a flock of about 12 that came into my apple orchard. A couple of the trees still had fruit, but the apples were up high. I watched out my window as one flew up into a tree, climbed up aways, and knocked down some apples for those on the ground.
I remember that episode of WKRP and even after all these years, it still brings a tear of merriment to my eyes.

That one was of the best episodes. I used to love that show. There is one in particular I still remember - it was one where they were going a jingle for a funeral home - so they made it peppy and upbeat.
Ferriman, Ferriman, he's the man with the plot, the man with the plan Ferriman, Ferriman Bye Bye - Bye Bye
That's only part of it - but I still remember that one in particular.
Does anyone know if it's on in reruns anywhere?
