Think That Voting Doesn't Matter?
Something to tell your non-voting friends when they say "it doesn't matter if I vote"

Think That Voting Doesn't Matter?

This is what NOT voting gets you…

1. Lousy schools
2. Dirty air
3. Polluted water
4. Hate radio on 24/7
5. Info-tainment instead of news on TV
6. Payola for Politicians
7. Expensive medicine
8. War for the sake of oil
9. Institutionalized poverty for veterans
10. Unaffordable medical insurance
11. Low interest rates for the rich, high interest rates everyone else
12. High food costs, but poor small farmers
13. High cable bills & internet restrictions
14. High phone bills
15. People making $400,000.00 (1%) or more getting more than 50% of tax breaks
16. Corporations taking Good jobs away from America, to avoid paying decent wages
17. An insane drug policy that mainly benefits private prisons
18. A vanishing middle class..
19. A hatred of America that is spreading around the world like a virus
20. Unemployment
21. Pension plans morphed into 401-k’s only to be stolen by greedy CEO’s
22. Laws that NEVER favor “the little guy”
23. Higher property taxes, as states lose federal funding
24. Union busting with a vengeance (low paid “wage slaves” are the ultimate goal)
25. Government spying on your every move
26. "Volunteer military" that relies too heavily on reservists & National Guard..recalling GRANDMOTHERS and if a new draft actually starts up again, watch for the "elite" to wiggle out again.
27. College kids graduating with $40,000 in debt, and starting salaries @$20,000.00 a year..

How did your absence at the polls make these things happen?? Well, while you were voting for “Mario” instead of "Emmitt" or you were stressing about whether Brittney & K-Fed would get back together, of if "Tom-Kat" would actually get married, the politicians in DC were busily stuffing money into their pockets , and passing legislation that screws YOU and favors the guys with the big bucks..

How can you stop it?? Get informed… Vote the bastards OUT.. Take back YOUR government.. Do it from the ballot box.. Newspapers, radio & tv companies are ALL OWNED by the same few rich guys who just want you to buy their stuff and shut up.. Get your news online… Read foreign newspapers.. Find out what is REALLY going on..

Quit whining about how miserable your life is, and DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT !!!

1. I read somewhere that many National races turn on as few as 2 votes
TWO votes per precinct! so you and one more person in every neighborhood across the county can REALLY make a difference!

4. I can't imagine anyone not voting in at least a national election
Although I have to admit that at one time I actually went through my "both parties are alike" phase.

But Ronald "Screw the Poor" Raygun put a quick end to that naive fantasy...

5. my 'working poor' stepson is a Rightard who doesn't vote!

He says that either party is useless and complains that neither party gives HIM a tax break.
Fecking Jayziz, he needs a union dammit. He has to work Thanksgiving for straight pay and can't refuse -or he gets fired.
DOH!
And DINO's are actively working against him as well, but he doesn't even understand that there are such creatures.
This ignorance based opinion is impregnable.

7. It's sad, isn't it? people rag on unions, but
if they hear of a union job being offered, they are often climbing over people to try and GET that job..

makes no sense

8. Voting Gets Results Where Nothing Else Can
What voting means:

1st day: Republican corporate criminals ruling over all, ripping up the Constitution, no one can stop anything, no hearings or investigations, smear campaigns against anyone who tries to mention anything, censorship, the entire Federal budget being funneled to Halliburton, Enron, and Republican contributors, the entire economy ripped to shreds and sent to China, etc., etc.
2nd day, after election: We are in control now, Democrats are demanding investigations and have the power to subpoena now, and Bush, Cheney and all the rest are going to get theirs; it is suddenly generally declared, "neo-con opinion is dead."

One day.
