since her little restroom gaffe, and especially since she now shares her timeslot with co-anchor Don Lemon, hasn't been to sunny.

She used to be vibrant and vivacious but now she just has a "just doing my time" look and she hardly ever smiles anymore.

As for her working on the holiday, so did Soledad, Miles, Heidi, Tony, and a few other weekday regulars.

Dufuss 'Lemon' - I wouldn't smile either. I've actually seen her cringe at some of the dumb shit coming out of his mouth. And he's got 'Bush' syndrome - can't wipe that smirk off his face no matter how serious the topic.
