Saddam GASSED his own PEOPEL!!!!!111111
Edited on Thu Nov-23-06 10:04 PM by Bluebear
Look, I don't know how many people Saddam 'gassed', Mr. Bush, but you tell us Iraq today is "better"??? Doctors, scientists, all the people that would be need to rebuild Iraq IF it's rebuildable have fled the country, or are dead. Curfews! Terror! Death! EVERY DAY, day in and day out. Yes, we've improved these people's lives, haven't we, Mr. Bush?

THIS is what we're supposed to celebrate, Mr. Bush?? THIS is "free"? And these photos are just from TODAY. Mr. Bush. While you were making merry and taking some "time off". SHAME. SHAME!!!!!

1. A little research would show that the "gassing" claims are BOGUS.

Iranian soldiers may have gassed some Kurds, but there is NO credible evidence that Saddam ordered ANY gassing of ANY of "his own people".

Check your premise from now on, please. If you just need a reason to justify posting photos of boosh, just say you thought they are interesting & you wanted to share them with the DU community.

4. Bluebear knows that Nozebro. She is being ironic and posting like a freeper.
Or other right-winger to make a point. Sorry if you did not pick up on this sarcasm - the misspellings and overuse of examclamations in imitation of a Free Republic post.

But, yes, it is good to remind everyone of this.

7. It's that turkey coma lol . . .seriously though, these pictures are heartbreaking.
Every day keeps getting worse and worse over there, and our soldiers are in the middle of a powderkeg. May this new Congress have the guts to pull in the monkey's reins.

12. Yes. I recommended the thread. I had not seen many of them.
Such a scam, sham, fiasco, travesty and moral disaster.

2. They had al-Sadr a couple years ago but let him go.
One of the biggest mistakes made after the invasion/occupation.

And, btw, Churchill gassed the Iraqis, too, in the 1920s, with mustard gas.

8. Even Busholini has said this as a fact when no evidence has
been established that it was the case.

If 140 US Troops were killed today it would have been a massive Headline in every paper, on the radio and tv. Iraqis being killed just doesn't phase most Americans any longer.

11. If so, Pruneface, Poppy and Rummy sold him the stuff.

Alan Friedman's "Spider's Web" chronicled a cowardly lion's share of it.

14. I'm guessing it's NOT Thanksgiving Day in Iraq
And I'm also guessing that there won't be one for years, maybe even decades.

And look at that last pic. The Chimp, firmly ensconced in his easy chair at Camp David or the Crawford Pig Farm looks fat and happy and contented. Wel, maybe not fat, due to his lengthy daily exercise diversions.

But, what a contrast!

And I'm sure Mr. Bush's life has been a contrast with 99.8% of the world's population.
