Salvation Army volunteer: "I’ve never seen so many children as I have this year.”
Must be that newly coined "very low food security" that's seen an increase during chimp's regime

The 1,000th meal emerged from the kitchen just two hours after the first, but with hungry people still streaming into the Salvation Army building, the cooks had far more work before they could enjoy some food for themselve

“Thanksgiving is different. It’s our biggest single meal of the year, and it attracts people from all over. Some people here are destitute. Some are just lonely. We welcome everyone.”

The crowd has changed a lot over the years,” said Joan Rogers, a volunteer who has spent three decades playing piano at Salvation Army events. (She played mostly classical music yesterday, along with a few show tunes.)

“When I first started, it was mostly old men. Now, it’s mostly families. I’ve never seen so many children as I have this year.” There were even grown children.

4. Yeah, let the W and his family go without a few meals
Of course, they would cry "food insecurity" if only served oatmeal for breakfast. Where's the bacon, pancakes, and eggs?
