You son of a bitch, you couldn't even muster the courage to give them Turkey...
You're such a coward, that you could even get in your big jumbo jet, turn out the lights, land in Baghdad and give the soldiers dying in this mess a fucking Turkey dinner.

We shouldn't really expect you to grow a pair and a spine, but, you know, we still hope in this country, even though you've pretty much managed to take care of that the past six years.

What the hell is wrong with you man?

I'm not some brave fella, and I'm not serving, but even I would take the risk for those poor guys stuck in this mistake, were I President. (Of course, I'd like to hope I wouldn't get someone stuck in a mistake in the first place.)

I don't think many other people would be able to look at themselves if they were as cowardly as you are Mr. President.

It's unfair and dangerous to say men and women who've not served in battle cannot become Presidents and send people off to die, but it is fair to say when that happens we can't trust your instincts. Your instincts are not the ones of a former soldier.

I will repeat this because it is so important, you don't have to be a soldier to send them to die, but when you do that we the people of America demand that you actually give a damn.

I don't think you really do give damn about those soldiers, or even the Americans who died on 9/11 (or at least their families.)

It might occur to you that hearing "9/11" every five seconds whenever you're on the TV, might just remind them of that terrible day and their loss. I'm not saying they should forget their loved ones, but they probably don't like having salt rubbed in the wound.

And the families of those soldiers probably aren't too happy with the fact that you couldn't get your lazy ass up and go to Iraq on Thanksgiving. Either Iraq is way too dangerous for you, more dangerous than last year, or you're just a lazy SOB. I'm not sure which one, because either could be true. Either way it’s bad: you’re a coward, or you’re a coward and Iraq is getting worse.

And one last thing, if you do go to Iraq, we want to hear that you did, but we don't want to see you use the soldiers as propaganda.

You ought to be ashamed, but it doesn't look like you are, because you don't seem to have any shame.

5. Bush is scheduled to meet the Iraqi PM in Jordan
and al-Sadr is throwing a hissy fit over it.

On top of Cheney supposedly being in Iraq yesterday AM - headline news. Then all of a sudden he wasn't in Iraq. Oops, we don't know who would even think such a thing.

7. The last time he went to Iraq on Thanksgiving
the turkey on the platter was plastic and a lot of troops didn't even get a dinner at all because only the handpicked supporters were allowed into the mess hall and nobody else was.

This year, maybe everybody got a chance to eat something more than dust.

9. better the stinking little loser just stay home instead of
turning the spotlight on himself with yet another fake turkey photo-op. He couldn't give a s**t less about them so any gestures of "visiting the troops" are just a waste of taxpayer money and rob the true heroes and sufferers, our soldiers, of their due. Like the photo-ops in and around NOLA, everything he does is ABOUT HIM and HIM ALONE. Let the soldiers dine in peace without that phony a-hole strutting around with a sock in his crotch pretending to be a big brave soldier who doesn't secretly sleep with a teddy bear and wet his bed at the sound of a firecracker.
