Polling Report shows 58% believe that Iraq and Vietnam are the
same. We abruptly left Vietnam and now it has become a OK Country (not evil). I'm sure that there were many who thought we had to finish the job in Vietnam, too. Where is the precedent that we can point to that shows that we have to stay the course or Iraq will get worse?

2. the other 42% are just bluffing

42% is the percentage of voters who lean or are GOP.

When Iraqis shoot the Maliki government out of power- there is loud mumbling about an attack on the Green Zone- there will be that lightbulb moment. But not earlier.
