W has harmed women immeasureably by his anti women reproductive stand.
I cannot reconcile our bombing Japan population centers with the atom bomb and I never will.
Excellent blog.

2. I'm pretty interested to see how this goes |
|
I'm considering starting a similar effort (different issue) myself, so I'd like to hear what your strategy is - are you talking to local groups that would be likely to consider applying their pressure to the issue, like NOW or NARAL?

3. Maybe get the issue to NARAL/Planned Parenthood |
|
to get members of Congress to sponsor the necessary legislation or whatever it takes to rescind the Order. Start from the grass roots and work up. I am pretty certain my Congressman would go for it.
I'm willing to compromise and leave in the abortion part if I have to but get the birth control information and contraceptives, condoms back out to the indigenous peoples of the Third World nations. Stop bringing babies into the world who are destined to stave to death for God's sake! Stop the spread of AIDS!!!

5. I really think I would compromise on that issue |
|
to get the Order rescinded to save the lives of all those babies who would be born without a chance of survival, to stem the spread of AIDS. You have to think like a politician to even get something like this to get off the ground floor.
I was a journalist for some 30 years and married to two newspapermen. My first late husband, a political reporter who became a city editor and managing editor, called it the "fine art of compromise". I've partied with the best in D.C. It was quite an experience, too.

6. One way genocide works is thru rape |
|
To silence women's reproductive rights for the larger "public good" isn't something I could endorse.

One has to answer to his/her own conscience.
Good luck.
