And there is no end in sight. We and the Iraqis and the the Afghanis are worse off than when he first invaded.

And AWOL Monkey-Boy still hasn't the slightest idea at this time of what to do next ..... Bush says he still is undecided whether to start bringing U.S. troops home from Iraq or add to the 140,000 there now.

U.S. involvement in the Iraq war has outlasted that of the Korean War (three years, one month); the War of 1812 (two years, six months); the U.S.-Mexican War (one year, 10 months); World War I (one year, seven months); the Spanish American War (eight months); and the first Persian Gulf War (one and a half months).

We should never let the goppers forget that during this whole time THEY were the ones who were totally in control and THEY were the ones who allowed things to get in this sad condition. THEY owned all three branches of government. There is no way they can weasel out of this one.

Ed to add:

'Mission Accomplished' my ass

2. No, it hasn't...
1 September 1939 - 8 May 1945 (in Europe); circa 1937 - 2 September 1945 (in Asia, from the Japanese invasion of China to the end). US involvement in the war may have lasted longer, but WWII was well under way when the US finally got involved and the major turning points in the war against Nazi Germany (Stalingrad and El Alamein) came without any US involvement at all.

3. I think it is the war and not the time thing.
The time war went on in WW2 if often said started in 1914 and the 2 was just the end of that one. Once more it makes it sound like we were the only ones to fight in WW2 when just look at USSR who had a really good war even before Dec. 1941. It really is not time at all but if it is a right war or just war to make war. When the people fighting the war can not find out why they are fighting it it does become a problem.
