UCLA student tasing - any followup?

What's the status? I showed KO's interviews to my students. I just checked the LA TImes and the letters are pro-campus police.

It seems a muddy issue - the student provoked a response. (Whether he was justified because he was being racially profiled is another question that must be answered, of course.) But the response, from the cellphone recording shows, was way, way out of proportion.

I'd like to do a follow-up, but need more information.
