I'm sure I'd get some spin about how God tests us all by putting us through trials and tribulations.

He really wants the Republicans, you know, but only made the Democrats win so the Republicans would become better people.

...but I believe their explanation would be either of the following:

1. God works in mysterious ways.
2. God has forsaken America because of ... (insert liberal boogeyman of your choice: gays, activist judges, no prayer in schools, abortion-on-demand, Darwinism, etc.)
