I had the stangest dream the other morning...
..This is not shit.

In my dream, Nancy Pelosi and some other people I know were all together somewhere, I think that were riding around in a car or limo. Well, I was not with them because I was at home asleep, my phone rang which woke me (in my dream) and it was Nancy and my friends calling me to tell me that she signed/Passed Gay Marriage and all states that passed their anti-gay marriage admendments were null and void.

I could now marry my lover and receive all the things that any other married couple receives she told me; equal and fair treatment. But, it was Nancy that was telling me this over the phone before she announced it to the public and I could here my friends in the background cheering, she told my friends and myself first. Nancy was going to make the public announcement later in the day.

Its was so clear and real, I just had a recolection of this right now for some reason and I wanted to share it.

1. I think you should marry your lover anyway - have a ceremony
for the commitment and draw up living wills and other legal documents for the civil aspect.

I fully understand and agree that you shouldn't have to go through the extra hoop of hiring an attorney to perform the functions that a marriage gives for free to heterosexual couples, but I believe if more loving gay couples would start doing that very thing, then the more exposure the rest of this country would have to "married" gay couples, making it much easier on the population-at-large to accept in the long run.

It was a beautiful dream, btw.

2. Lord have mercy I hope your dream comes true
I consider gay rights the new race rights issue in America. I support you and want to speak, argue, agitate and legislate mercilessly until ALL GAYS AND LESBIANS ARE PERMITTED TO MARRY. The restriction against that is the most thick-headed, asinine, offensive piece of shit I think I have ever witnessed. It seems human beings just never stop generating absolute stupidity.

Here's a str8 for gay rights right here. :toast:

I hereby agree with Brad Pitt and assume his statement for my own life. As a hetero and sometimes bisexual, I refuse to marry until gays and lesbians have the nationwide, Federally-protected right to marry, too. That's in print now. There it is. I dood it.

3. I love it! How great for you!
That makes me totally happy. I love dreams that are wish fulfillments. I have had a few of these and love them so much.

Let it be so, let it be so.

Hope I have a wish fulfillment dream tonight on my own!

I think it means very good things for you. I wonder if Pelosi is working on this issue?

I love that song by Men at Work -

Last night I had the strangest dream,
I sailed away to China in a little rowboat to find you
And you said you had to get your laundry cleaned
Didn't want no one to hold you, what does that mean?

And you said
Ain't nothing gonna break my stride
Nobody's gonna slow me down
Oh no, I've got to keep on moving
Ain't nothing gonna break my stride
I'm running and I won't touch ground
Oh no, I've got to keep on moving

5. Maybe
it wasn't a dream .....

Sam Cooke "A Change Is Gonna Come"

I was born by the river in a little tent
Oh and just like the river I've been running ever since
It's been a long, a long time coming
But I know a change gonna come, oh yes it will

It's been too hard living but I'm afraid to die
Cause I don't know what's up there beyond the sky
It's been a long, a long time coming
But I know a change gonna come, oh yes it will

I go to the movie and I go downtown somebody keep telling me don't hang around
It's been a long, a long time coming
But I know a change gonna come, oh yes it will

Then I go to my brother
And I say brother help me please
But he winds up knockin' me
Back down on my knees

Ohhhhhhhhh.....

There been times that I thought I couldn't last for long
But now I think I'm able to carry on
It's been a long, a long time coming
But I know a change gonna come, oh yes it will

6. Yep - maybe it was real
You can talk to people in your dreams, that is what the telephone means, mind to mind communication. And the connection in the Universal Mind.

I like that song.
