Separated at Birth here in San Diego?
Edited on Sun Nov-26-06 11:55 PM by calipendence
San Diego Mayor Jerry Sanders...

and

ADCS and Duke Cunningham scandal monger Brent Wilkes...

BTW, just hot off the wires that Brent Wilkes just hired Mark Geragos to be his lawyer... Sounds like some indictments might be a comin'! Folks like Duncan Hunter might want to look out! He's already "running for president" now though. Might be harder to "google bomb" his way out of suspicion now...

3. The first tiime we did
but the County Registrar decided to go for the idiotic law that favored our previous mayor

The second time... it was probably closer than people think. We truly have an upstanding NOT, registrar of voters.

4. That was when we had Ms. McPherson as our ROV instead of Mikel Haas...
Still wonder if she's any relation to Bruce!

5. Well you know about Bruce our lovely Registrar
after sending machines home on overnights that lasted two weeks, I suspect elections have not been clean and will not be clean.

6. We've had an all Republican Board of Supervisors for a decade or so...
Edited on Mon Nov-27-06 12:48 AM by calipendence
... and in June when we finally threatened that hold with Richard Barrera running in a majority Democratic registered voters district, he gets screwed by fake "Democratic Party" campaign flyers recommending all Democrats except him (they recommended Ron Roberts instead!).

That is the power nucleus of this Republican mafia here, which employs Mr. Haas now too! It's too bad we couldn't have prevented Roberts from getting a majority in June then. If we had forced at least a runoff in November, I think that Mikel Haas and the voting machines would have been big issues for Roberts to have had to deal with then!

8. We need to keep pluging
but these days when I go vote, I have a strange sense of deja vu... to my voting days, as limited as they were, in Mexico

7. I know, I was involved in the campaign.
Never knew anyone in polictics more honest than Donna. Left San Diego for Southern Oregon Coast soon after. Peace and love to all.

I was just going to respond to another post in this thread saying that I'm thinking of moving to Oregon myself. The Rethugs around here surely motivate one after too many times beating your head against the wall!
