"Officer dies after Bush motorcade crash"
HONOLULU (Reuters) - A Honolulu police officer died on Sunday from injuries suffered when his motorcycle crashed while escorting
President George W. Bush during his Hawaii visit last week.

Steve Favella, 30, of Ewa Beach on Oahu, died at The Queen's Medical Center, said Honolulu Police Department spokesman Captain Frank Fujii.

Favella had been in critical condition with internal injuries following the crash on November 21 as the presidential motorcade left Hickam Air Force Base. Favella had been with the Honolulu Police Department for eight years.

In a statement issued on Sunday by the White House, the president and the first lady, who were both in the motorcade at the time of the accident, offered condolences to the officer's family. Favella left behind a wife and four children.

1. More innocent blood spilled for this frontman.
Really, it's all one can do to even read the reports anymore. I'm so sorry.

It's so fucking needless.

4. Are you suggesting Bush was responsible?
Would you have the same attitude if a guy crashed and died in Clinton's motorcade?

8. "Another life wasted BECAUSE of Bush."
That accident could have happened regardless of who's president.

11. Hmmm subtle.
So you agree that Bush is somehow responsible for this guys death? That is the comment I was responding to. That somehow, because Bush was in the motorcade we can blame the death on him.

I get derided for suggesting controlled demolition, but people are cool with attributing every death to Bush based simply on his presence.

7. No, but had it happened to Clinton's motorcade....
I would have heard about it 24/7 on the media until I believed it was.

10. Something similar happened in a Hillary motorcade and the wingniuts buzzed like cicadas.
The cop in the Hillary case didn't die, but that hardly mollified the Freepers. They spent three days gassing about how such an incident showed Hillary's callousness.

For that matter, an incident like this would SURELY show up on the Clinton Body List -- a list the Freepers made of everyone who died who had the remotest thing to do with Bill, such as being the Marine guard who saluted his helicopter who was later killed in a chopper crash. For Lord knows what reason, that was enough evidence for the conservative republicans to convict Clinton of murder a dozen times over.

But it turns out that Bush has a much more sinister list of people who turn into corpses after having something to do with him. Enron alone has claimed two. Hatfield, the biographer and Webb the journalist who blew the whistle on CIA-cocaine (which Poppy was up to his eyeballs in), are just two of the deaths that directly benefitted Bush, and that occurred after the soon-to-be corpse had embarrased the BFEE in the press.
