1. I believe the Lame Duck starts quacking tomorrow
Usually, Congress reconvenes the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, and continues for two to three weeks before adjorning (after an election) or calling a recess (when there has been no election.)

2. They come back nest week
IT was a two week vacation for them.

The Senate opens for a pro forma next Monday at 10:00 9so people can chuck last-minute legislatoin in the door) and then really comes back on 12/5 at noon.

The House will probably also come back next week. The Repub leaders have already said that they are going to punt on the agenda, pass some stop-gap funding and then go home, leaving everything else to the Dem Congress that starts in Jan. (3rd?)
