Bush Administration's grip over GOP caucus in Congress will actually be tighter than before
Mitch McConnell is the incoming Senate Minority Leader, did you know that his wife is Elaine Chao? She's Bush's Secretary of Labor. You'd think a rejection at the polls would tell Bush to stay away from the party, but he just can't avoid it can he?

3. Bush is in free fall right now and probably till the end of his term.
Republicans will be staying out of ground zero anticipating his hit to the ground.

Wisconsin today) will try to compare him to Reagan and Clinton who recovered from their parties loss of seats in '86 and '94 and became more popular in the next two years.

Reagan's stink wasn't as bad as Bush's is and Clinton wasn't a criminal.

no secret his anger at being abandoned by Bush three years ago.
