Sudan armed forces deliberately attacked Darfur civilians: UN
GENEVA (AFP) - Sudanese armed forces deliberately attacked civilians in western Darfur killing 11, including a woman burnt to death in her home, the office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights has said.

More than 100 houses in the Sirba region were torched in the November 11 attack in which eight civilians were also shot and injured, including two girls aged three and 15, Praveen Randhawa, a spokeswoman for the UN human rights office said Friday.

African Union sources had already highlighted the attack on November 13, claiming 30 people were killed and 40 injured, blaming Khartoum-backed Janjaweed militia.

3. Your callousness about the tragic
genocide in Darfur is, well, fucked up.

2. On and on
You know Wikipedia has a decent, albeit lengthy page on Darfur. Worth browsing through.

4. Good that the UN High Commission has said something, but
the UN human rights council, in 6 months of operation, hasn't even bothered with a resolution condemning the genocide in Darfur. In fact, they haven't criticized or issued a resolution about any country's human rights abuses other than Israel. Pathetic.
