Please watch over Nancy Pelosi and don't let her screw up the Democratic takeover of Congress.

Please lay a burden upon her heart to look out for the most vulnerable among us - the poor, the lame, the sick, the homeless, the destitute, and all Americans who are bereft of hope.

Lead her not into the temptation to compromise with the workers of iniquity, but instead steel her heart to resist the seductions and the temptations of the evildoers.

And please, Lord, help her to do the right thing for both our troops in Iraq and for the Iraqis themselves. We are all your children, and we need all the help you can give us.

Look down upon your imperfect children, Lord, and remember. And look down upon Nancy and remember.
